Benzodiazepines are usually known as sleeping pills. This drug is mainly used as medication in the treatment of anxiety. Various types of benzodiazepines are marketed in their trade name they are iprazolam, bromazepam, Chlordiazepoxide, clobazam, clonazepam, clorezepate, diazepam, Oxazepam, estazolam, flurazepam, etc. the commonly abused benzodiazepines are Chlordiazepoxide (Librium), diazepam (valium), alprazolam (xanax) and lorazepam (ativan). Librium is the first product of benzodiazepines. The habitual use of drugs develops tolerance and motivates to addict more amounts of drugs. (more…)
