Drug abuse first aid
Drug abuses are the mistreatment or overindulge of any legal or illicit drug including alcohol. Most of the street drugs which have no therapeutic use and they are just to elevate the pleasure. Any kind of drug use is said to be drug abuse. Even prescribed drugs are misused to have pleasure and get high.
Legal drug use that is prescribed drugs must be used only by the people for whom it is prescribed and must be taken only according to the prescription. The overdose of the drug will make them to indulge in misuse of the drugs. This develops into addiction and tolerance of the drugs. Some people take the drugs along with alcohol or with other drugs. This may be some with intention sometimes and at times unknowingly. The combination of drugs will lead to severe effect once the user stop using it.
The combine drug use will result in drug interaction which in turn produces adverse effects to the user. Most of the drugs are addictive and at times the addiction develops gradually. Cocaine will cause addiction only after certain dose.
Anyone who has addicted to drugs will obviously suffer from withdrawal syndrome at the time drug is stopped suddenly. A drug dose that is more enough to be poisonous is called an overdose. Rapid medical awareness could save the life of someone who unintentionally or intentionally takes an overdose.
