Employee drug screening policy
Employee drug screening is a policy that has been passed in most of the companies. Every applicant and worker in a company is supposed to take drug test. Drug testing is performed for safety measures which are tested by random drug testing.
A company before setting up with the drug testing programs it has to ensure the reliability of the program with federal government. Drug testing is the standard policy in hiring process and company must be sure in testing every candidate in similar way. As far as drug testing process is concerned partiality should not be handled by the company. Companies must provide reputed lab conduct certificate once a drug test is conducted.
Employers has right to claim about the drug testing result if it is positive in the case of no addiction. Once if a worker is failed in drug testing, he/she may be terminated from the position. Initially a warning will be given by the human resource person. If the condition persists final destination is termination.
Drug testing policy must be clearly produced on the paper or communicated with the applicant by the higher official. Workers who refuse to take drug test or discriminate the policy are also terminated temporarily from the work.
Company must produce valid reason for conduction drug testing in a random manner during work time. As the worker has to pass the drug test compulsorily to maintain the position they try out with cheating methods. Passing drug screening seems to be very important for every worker. Employers can pass urine testing by diluting the sample by drinking more water or with adulteration of sample with chemicals. Workers can pass any oral drug test conducted by the company by detoxification process. Beating drug test is handled by most of the employee which is still hidden.
