Pregnancy testing and ovulation testing
Pregnancy test is the confirmation test for a woman concerning her pregnancy. Pregnancy can be confirmed by certain chemical markers which are found in urine and blood. Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone is a glycoprotein which is secreted by the tropoblast cells after the fertilization. The gradual increase in the hCG level in the urine during gestational development is acting as the reliable marker to detect and confirm the pregnancy.
